Diving Certification

Even if you have never dived before, or are an experienced diver, FDVC (Fiji Dive Volunteer [Marine] Conservation) caters for you. You have one dive certification included in your program.

The following table summarises the certificates that are available to you in each of the programs. If you are interested in completing additional certificates, just let us know (there will be some additional costs involved).

Program PADI Dive Certification Summary
FDVC 6 Week Classic PADI certificate in one of the following:
  • Open Water or
  • Advanced Diver or
  • EFR or
  • Rescue Diver*
FDVC Dive Master Intern PADI Dive Master Certificate
FDVC 3 Week Classic PADI certificate in one of the following:
  • Open Water or
  • Advanced Diver or
  • EFR or
  • Rescue Diver*
FDVC 4 Week Surf Dive Combo PADI certificate in one of the following:

  • Open Water or
  • Advanced Diver or
  • EFR or
  • Rescue Diver*

*If you are undertaking the Rescue Diver course then you will also need a current (less than two years old) Emergency Response Certificate (EFR). EFR can either be undertaken at your local dive centre before you arrive, or we can provide it for you at a reasonable cost. Just let us know your preference.

If you are already Rescue Diver certificated then our Fiji Dive Master Intern Program is an option for you.
